It's pretty simple. You do it just like a music CD.
-Insert disc into your disc drive
-open iTunes
-click on Import CD
-after it's copied to your computer, update your iPod.

If you can open the audio book CD in iTunes, then yes. Open the CD in iTunes and import it into your iTunes library. Then plug in your iPod and load the audio book files into it as you would any other song file (either drag it to the iPod or let the iPod update automatically, depending on your settings). If the audio book is broken into several files, it might be useful to make up a playlist for easy access.

I put all my Open University Audio stuff on my i-pod.
Open i-tunes, insert the CD into your computer and load it into your library, it'll be tranfered to the i-pod next time you connect it to the PC.
