Stalis is a rapidly expanding resort situated between its livelier neighbours, Malia & Hersonissos.
With its vast expanse of beautiful sandy beach where water sports are plentiful, rather laid back atmosphere & a number of lively bars and a excellent choice of resturants & tavernas lining the beach.....
Lovely sandy beach
Good choice of bars, resturants & 3 disco bars
1hr15 minutes coach transfer,50 mins by taxi from airport...
Stalis Attracts families & couples who come for the excellent beach and relatively lively nightlife... have a nice time!!

This is a nice resort close to Malia and the resort of Hersonissos so you have the freedom to go out to either resort. Stalis has a very nice beach area and depending on what time of year you go it will be nice. I wouldn't go in October as the resort is slowly closing down for the season so sometimes you find the restaurants don't have as much wide choice of foods. I personally find Crete a wonderful island to visit as there is something for everyone to do once there - historical, cultural and socialising.

Hello dear!
Stalis is East from Heracleion, close to Malia.
It is a nice place, not so crowd and messy as Malia, with all the problems British youngsters are creating!
Enjoy your visit!

Crete is a great place for landcapes, but has also been spoilt by mass tourism, but this appeals to many for its night life.
If you are looking for a more chilled out Greece, look for the smaller Islands, some are not reached by direct flight but well worth the trip.
Connections now are easy, so don,t be afraid.
