I am planning on starting my own cosmetics line. But I'm not sure where to start.?

I have a great idea and concept of what I want it to be like, just don't know where to begin.

make your products, or get with a chem company and present your ideas and business proposal, so they can make them.
then, package them. either yourself or find a packaging company.
then, sell them.
start by selling at fairs and see if local mom and pop shops will sell them.
also, try selling on QVC or Home shopping.
then, try getting bigger and sell to large retailers.

good luck. this is the best i can do without knowing what kind of cosmetics you're trying to sell.

oh, and you'll probably need a loan to start the process. you'll need research and development...that costs money.

I think a Ph.D. in chemistry is your best start, unless you are rich so you can hire other people to create the make-up for you.
