You are probably not pregnant. I just took a pregnancy test Friday nite (yay - it was positive!) and the second line is STILL there right now. It is probably the die being activated by urine. It is actually a pregnancy hormone that activates the positive line - and it will stay that way. The pregnancy test from when I was pregnant 11 years ago with my daughter is still positive, but it is barely visible. If you "stress" your period will be a little late.

What you are seeing is the urine being wicked up the test. You need to wait the full amount of time (usually 10 minutes) before trying to read the test.

You have to wait until the test is finished before you read it. More than likely what you are seeing si the dye run through the test as it finishes. If you are pregnant, it will remain darkly colored.

You have to wait the full time before reading the test. Don't read it early or late just right on time that is when it is accurate.

take a digital. They tell you yes or no if the hormone is present so there is no guessing :)
