Just remember that you're the candle.

Keep burning the end that spreads your warmth to the people who deserved to be warm.

Take a really, really close look at the other end, and see whether, in the process of using you up, it's giving you anything worthwhile in return.

Most candles, even the bright ones, flicker and die in about 80 years.

Nope. Self -preservation. I would extinguish the one closer to my body so I won't get burned. I'm not waiting for a gust of wind(nature) to extinguish it. Neither will I wait for fate, which probably wants me to get burned to learn my lesson. The lesson? Do not burn your candle on both ends. Or to put it in simple terms: do not overextend yourself. You'll burn out faster that way.

if your burning the candle at both ends it would be better if you blow out both at the same time or one at a time its better before the flame burns you out, dont wait for fate or nature to take its course because that could be fatal you make your own fate and nature makes it own so go head blow the flames out

Consider yourself lucky you have two places in which to shelter a flame. That the world hasn't already caused them to parish is amazing. That you should have the choice is a blessing, and why must one be extinguished? One flame will burn you more than two.

Just let it burn, grab a 12 pack and a fishing pole, and head south on the sunny side of the street. It will go out eventually.

I usually get burnt out on the side that knocks out my body leaving my poor head to run wild with all sorts of crazy ideas.
Sometimes my body wants to sleep but my mind needs to take another look at something that's on it.
I wish these two could get coordinated.

Snuff the flame closest to your hand before you get badly burnt. Don't be naive, the competition likes to see others burn and crash.
