Shouldn't I be allowed to grow one just for decorative purposes? What if it was a just a male plant, which does not have the illegal THC chemical in it?

Not really interested in growing a crop, just one or two potted (no pun intended) plants.

Move to Canada, get a license to grow hemp for manufacturing and buy land in a dry, arid climate, i.e. prairies (that would be north of Montana to north of N. Dakota). On average you will get two crops a year.

Do research and find other areas in the world that will let you grow it legally.

Lobby your governments to change the laws.

back in the 80's i raised parrots and bought my seed in bulk
(50 lb bags) you could purchase marijuana seeds to feed
your birds, they realy like the seeds, the seeds were supposed to be sterilized but alot of them weren't cause I always threw the
leftovers to the wild birds outside and these funny looking plants
would spring up
long story short, you can still probably find seed in the bird seed mix
