It is not uncommon to gain weight when you first begin to work out. This is because muscle weighs more than fat, so if you've lost fat and gained muscle you may weigh more and be the same size. You may lose inches and still weigh the same. You may even lose inches and weigh more. After you have been excercising for a while you will notice the difference in the way the clothes fit. This is a better way to confirm your progress than the scale. Otherwise, to accurately measure weight loss go by inches or use a scale that caluclates body fat.

It's means you have either got some fluid retention or have you been working out lately? Because you may have gained a little muscle, and lost some fat. This would make you slimmer or the same size, but as muscle weight more than fat, you may gain a few pounds. HTH.

Have you been working out? If you have gained muscle that could be it because it weighs more...You could also be retaining water. Some foods you eat can spike your weight a little bit as well...if it is just a few punds I wouldn't worry about it much...

I don't know if anyone mentioned it - but it is also normal for people to fluctuate in weight (up to 5 pounds a day!) Which is why many diets want you to weigh yourself at the same time, and only once per day.

Since muscle weighs more than fat, you have probably gained muscle tone. Your period and digestive tract can cause fluctuation in weight gain, but since your inches are the same, I would suppose you have increased muscle tone.

water weight. if uve been eating alot of salty food its probly ur retaining water.
also if ur on ur period or right before it some people retain water so it could be that. this one adn the first one are both temporary.
or u mesured ur self in the wroung places maybe its on ur legs not ur stomach or vis a versa.
or maybe ur growing if ur young.
or u gained muscel tissue.
p.s. gaining and loosing weight does make ur breasts bigger or smaller. and same with ur butt.

Muscle cells weigh on average 3 times more than fat.
If you've been exercising, this is a sign that you've been doing a good job.
