I'm assuming your a girl.
Be careful. That is very important, belive me. Make sure you are sitting down. Apply shaving cream. Shave with the razor upside down and against the grain of the hair .(upwards) smoothly. You might have to run the razor over one area a few times. Around the knee be very careful, stand up to straighten your leg and don't apply too much pressure. Rinse.

All of the advise below is pretty good and i can not really say anything else on it.
However i would recommend that you use a decent shaving gel, any of the King of Shaves is a preference to me, No Razorburn for the last 4 years.
CAn apply for men or women !

Warm water, not too hot, plenty of gel, not too much. shave down, then rinse, lather up again and shave up. Rinse, wash with gentle soap, moisturise.( Avoid alcohol; because this just aggravates the skin) Works the same for men or women, but men probably want to use an un-scented moisturiser like E45.

First shave towards the direction of hair growth. Then, for a closer shave, go against the grain. Apply alcohol to prevent razor burn.

that depends are you a girl or a boy?
a dude should use a hot hand towel and keep it on your face for about 10 minutes
then lather up your cheeks and go with the grain (sp?) and use a man moisturizer
a girl should mosturize her legs 10 minutes before shaving, do everything in the shower and do your legs last lather and shave against the hair growth

I use my shower gel to shave .. in the shower.. get a warm shower going so it can open up your pores so you get a closer shave.. don't go too fast cause you will hurt yourself.. I never get a razor burn either.. shaving gel or cream cost to much.. with the shower gel you can stay withthe same smell you use on your body and ... no rust satins in the shower..:)

girl? Lather up the legs, hold the razer straight against the skin, don't push down, and pull the razor up against the grains of the hair. Easy as pie.

First of all always avoid using products formulatted with alcohol and fragrances since these could be the cause for rashes and allergies, leaving our skin bumpy and red....
