Recently it came to my attention (basically through someone telling me) that my My space account had been infiltrated by someone I have had problems with on yahoo IM ....They made up a fake ID and became a" friend "on my my space so they could read my blogs .......I was shocked to say the least . I was wondering if there is any way you can tell where the request to be your friend is coming from ? At this moment in time I dont add any new friends because I am suspicious that this person will pull the same trick again with another fake ID , I dont want to keep refusing new friends from my space but don't want to be fooled again in this way . Is there any way of telling where the request is coming from .....so I can filter this person out if they should try it again ? Thanks ...p.s .....I dont want another new My space , it would take too long to set up again. There must be SOME WAY to tell where the requests are coming from....HELP

At this time, Myspace does not offer any way for you to tell where the request is coming from. If this is a person you truely dislike, I say if they are that interested in you, let them be. Doesn't mean you have to pay them any mind. If you are worried about them finding out something personal about you, based on your blog, then you can readjust your blog settings so that they can only be read by the people you personally add to the list, and make sure you only add members that you personally know. Hope this helps.

Try and switch your email address that is connected with myspace registration. If they keep requesting just keep denying them.
