If you are attending college, or have one nearby, try their library. Many college libraries carry subscriptions to various scholarly publications, which are then free to the students to use for research. You can also talk to your local library and see what they have available or where they could direct you. Also, if any of your textbooks came with an InfoTrac or other similiar type of subscription, you can log on and search the publications there.
