It kinda depends on how old your rabbit is. If its pretty young it can be hard to tell until its an adult. There is a way you can sex a rabbit but its not always 100%. You have to old the rabbit on its back and push gently on its genital area. If a penis comes out then congratulations its a boy. If not then its a girl. Although like I said it can be hard to tell if its still young. My sister had a rabbit that we all thought was a girl until it started humping the other rabbits. Then Megan became McGuyver. She was not too happy about it either. Anyway, if you are uncomfortable sexing your rabbit you can take it to a vet or someone familiar with rabbits and have them do it for you. Good luck.

It is not too hard to tell the difference between female and male rabbits after they are eight weeks old. The easiest way to learn is to ask someone who already knows how. If there is no one to help you, the following items will tell you how. Hold the rabbit in your arms or put it on its back on a table. Hold the rabbit in your arms or put on its back on a table Notice that there are two openings just behind the tail. The opening nearest the tail is where the rabbit droppings come out. This opening looks much the same in ail rabbits. However, the second opening of a female looks quite different from the second opening of a male. This is how you tell them apart. Push down gently with your thumbs on each side of the openings. You will see that they are red and moist inside. Look carefully at the second opening. Some rabbits have a slit and some rabbits have a circle with a small hole in the centre. Look at the second opening
If you see a slit, the rabbit is a female. If you see a circle, the rabbit is a male.

The sexing of Rabbits, even at a very young age, is comparatively simple, but like very many aspects of rabbit keeping, it is best learnt by a little practical guidance from a knowledgeable person. Apart from the sex organs there is generally little difference between the appearance of the sexes although the buck often has a broader head and is usually the smaller of the two. The easiest way of sexing a rabbit is to hold the rabbit with the palm of one round the back of the rabbits head, with the thumb in front of the ears, and with the rabbit lying on its back on the operators lap. With the other hand, the thumb and index finger (or the index and middle fingers) are used to gently press on either side of the sex organ. At around six weeks of age, the organ of the buck will appear rounded whilst that of the doe will be slit-like or V-shaped. With increasing age these differences will become more and more apparent. With a mature buck the scrotal sac will usually be apparent, but it should be noted that the buck can withdraw the testicles into the body cavity, and the apparent absence is not therefore a completely certain guide. The sexing of newly born rabbits requires both experience and practice and except in special cases is unlikely to be required by the newcomer

To determine the sex of the rabbit, use your forefinger and middle finger to press down the vent area just in front of the anus. In both the doe and buck, the area will protrude. The doe will display a slit or central line running up and down. Each side of the slit will be banded in pink.
The buck, on the other hand, will display, if less than 5 weeks old, a blunt white tube without a central line. It will not have pink traversing either side of a center line. Older bucks will present a pink tube with a pointed end that resembles a bullet.
With younger rabbits, you must look very closely to see the difference

You have to squeeze the area a little and if a male part appears . . it's a boy. Sometimes male rabbits keep there male parts inverted and it's hard to tell if it's a boy or girl.
If your still in a jumble, go to a pet shop, they are always willing to help.

As long as it's an adult male, you'll know. The testicles are quite noticeable. If it's still young, they may not have dropped yet, so you'll have to feel around.
If it's a male, be sure to get it neutered...if a male rabbit sprays that one time, they are more likely to continue even after being sterilized.

Turn it over. Then take your index & middle fingers and grasp the tail (pretend that your fingers are scissors cutting the tail off) and push back with your thumb on the little triangle of fur above the genital area. If what you see looks like a donut, it's a male, if it looks like a taco, it's a female.

Hold him or her on his back in one hand and with your other hand go right between his back legs and in front of his tail. If he is a boy you will find his little bunny balls. If not, she's a girl.

If it wears a little bow on it's head, it's female. If it wears a little bowler hat, it's male.
