Actually, yeah and I injured my eye really bad. I was driving in the car with a friend of mine in the passengers seat and I was putting my eyeliner on (not very smart, yeah I know that now) and he had to hit the break because a deer ran in front of the car and the pencil stabbed into the bottom part of my cornea. I had to wear a stupid eye patch for weeks, but it did heal up. Hurt like a b*tch too, let me tell ya! They said I could have easily lost my eye if it went in further and more in the center of eye. So what's the moral of this story? NEVER apply eyeliner in a moving vehicle!!!

Haha! More times than I can count! I use to be in a colorguard over the summer so often we would have to put on makeup on the bus to save time.. yeah, try doing your eyeliner on a school bus bumping around and having a bunch of people ( including curious guys) watching you!

Hi yes and it hurts, but its worse when you poke your self in the eye with a mascara brush as all the mascara goes in your eye as well so you have an eye full of black goo and its really scary plus it stings like mad. but you have to let your eye water to get all the mascara out. My eyes are watering just thinking about it.Ouch

Yeah all tthe time and then my eye waters and i have to start all over again.
Once i put nail glue in my eye rather than a eye clean solution - it was the morning after a huge night out, I just leant and got the little bottle and thought that is what is was - painful! ;0(

Yes i accidently do it all the time! But don't panic, the eyes are very clean and will wash it all out. If it's really bad you could maybe use an eye wash, but i wouldn't use tap water ever because it has quite alot of chemicals in it that could affect your eyes.

I'm sure that every woman (or man) who has ever applied eyeliner has done this. I don't think it's harmful unless there is pain or it is affecting your vision. Then you should go to the emergency room immediately.

Yes and I've done that with Mascara too. Hurts with the liner, but when you do that with mascara, it doesn't hurt much but there'll be a big smudge ON your eye... then you have to rinse your eye with cool water and wipe whatever's left of the smudge off of your eye with your (clean, newly washed) ring finger (your ring finger is the gentlest one. ) then put on a couple of eyedrops and you're good to go!!

I know i have....I aready know what will happened after i poked myself with an eyeliner. My eye would sting, burn, and get teary, afterward my makeup would get ruined and i get pissed meaning my boyfriend have to wait another 30 mints for me to get done :)

All the time i swear I'm doing it on purpose lol but i cant help it ...you no when the eyeliner is nearly gone and theres the sharp pencil pocking though oww that one hurts....
