One of the best performances I've ever seen was by Brad Davis in Midnight Express.. Also, Henry Fonda gave a masterful performance in 12 Angry Men. Humphrey Bogart was awesome in The Caine Mutiny. I could go on but suffice to say, this is a really tough question. I cannot decide on just one.
