It does seem that way, but frankly it is far from the truth many times... A stigma lies within the description of "bottom" and there is yet another stigma for "top". Many feel that being typed a bottom makes them appear less masculine and so they pick the word "versatile" to serve as a catch all to the question..but its avoidance actually. Describing yourself as a top may actually get friends to chuckle at you because they feel its an attempt to appear more masculine than what you really are...again, the answer is given as versatile, to serve the catch all, this time not to be typecast as less masculine, but "open" to anything...When the question comes across to me personally I prefer to identify with, "tend to lean towards a bottom"...but actually it really depends on the guy and how he makes me feel. Thats the real answer. Keep in mind that the above stigma's do not apply to everyone.

Do hets only have one position always? Does the women not get on top at times? Does each sex not please each other? I think its the same concept with gay people. If one was strictly bottom, he wouldnt b getting his all the time now would he? Same with lesbians, its a 2 way street and we are all trying to get ours!

What does it matter? I mean if they are versatile it means they like it either way. Why classify your activities and restrict yourself if you are going to practice anal sex.
I don't because I am g0y and we don't do anal.
