What will you be and become or accomplish?

I only have a temporary purpose or destiny.....to decrease pain and increase pleasure.....all else is lost to oblivion.
In a thousand years, all your accomplishments will be forgotten. You'll make an impact on your kids, but even they will eventually turn to dust. Your name will be etched on a tombstone or inked on a family tree, but even that will eventually turn to stone.
So what's the point of living....? Like i said, the short-term destiniy or goal in life is to decrease pain and increase pleasure (live for the moment).

The belief in a "destiny" implies the asumption that you are not really free and that it doesn't matter what you do or what desicions you take today, still the outcome tomorrow will be the same regardless of your conscious involvement: you can't change the outcome, or in another words: if you believe in destiny that means that you support the determinist position. But if you believe that your decisions today modify your future and that today's circunstances are product of yesterday's decisions then you don't believe in fate, for YOU ARE THE ARCHITECT OF YOUR OWN DESTINY!

My destiny will be whatever I make of it, by my choices and actions.

i wish i knew what my destiny was exactly...but i hope my destiny revolves around Art and plenty of wisdom.

hopefully a scientist, so that I could find a cure to a disease or anything that will help the humanity
