Talk to your payroll dept. They will have to call the bank & put a stop payment on the check. As soon as the bank verifies the stop payment, they will most likely have A/P issue you a new one.

Report it to your employer. They will be able to cancel the previous check and issue another unless someone else has cashed it. Then I would look into a way to prosecute the person or institution that cashed the check.

Tell your employer ASAP, so they can put a stop payment on the check and cut you a new one. We charge our employees that stop fee, but yours may not. Timing is of the essence, so that someone else doesnt cash it.

I lost my check and i just talked to my employer and they checked if i cashed it or not and they saw i didn't so they canceled my first check and gave me a new one!

Have your employer put a stop payment on your check and have them re-issue one.
