There is no benefit to a "colonic". The claims of "built up waste" are just completely false, intended to sell you on this bullsh!t "therapy".

Unless you are preparing for a test like a colonoscopy, colonics in general are not recommended by the mainstream medical community. You could deplete your body of important electrolytes - like potassium and bicarbonate. You could also mess up the balance of helpful bacteria, allowing more dangerous bacteria to grow in your colon. Colonics are particularly dangerous for people with previous bowel problems or heart conditions or conditions in which their fluid balance is important - like people on dialysis, who are anorexic, etc.

i would say if you have a history of any bowel rupture, bowel adhesions, severe diverticulosis, colon cancer...this might be some contraindications.
