Wow that's a tough one. I first thought of "I Hope You Dance" by Faith Hill. But that is more from a mother to a daughter.
There was a female country artists and I can't remember which one, did a song last year about mothers and daughters. I will put this on my watch list and if I think of it I promise to get back to you.
In my Daughter's Eyes by Martina McBride or
The Wind Beneath My Wings by Bett Midler would be my pick..

hmmm backstrret boys 'perfectfan' is a great song for son to motherbut i dunno about mother daughter!..unless you say its from me altho its about a guy to his mum lol
