People loading a bottle, or their stomach, with a mixture of Mentos and soda pop.

Mythbusters did a special on it...the Mentos have certain ingredients that cause other certain ingredients in Coke to react, causing the soda to want to escape from the bottle. Pretty cool scientific stuff...They even isolated the actual elements that react...although I can't remember which ones they are. Try to catch the episode...they rerun all the time.

there was a video floating around on youtube I believe that showed these scientist looking guys, who drop a number of mentos in the pepsi bottles and it would make the pepsi erupt. then they set up like 50 bottles and synchronized the eruptions to music. It was fairly cool.

Yeah my mom was telling me about it and i guess if you put a few mentos in a bottle it explodes. Big deal right?
