It really depends on the type of concealer. If you have one that is liquid that is dispensed into a brush and looks like a paintbrush (eg. L'Oreal Touche Magique), then you can simply paint it on to the areas you need it, but do this quite sparingly because it spreads quite far. If you have one that looks like a lipstick and the concealer is a solid, (eg. Rimmel Hide The Blemish), then you can either use your finger to apply it or simply draw it on like a lipstick. This should also be used quite sparingly.

Once it's applied, you can either blend it gently using your finger (if you are applying concealer underneath your eyes use your ring finger or little finger to blend as the skin is very thin), or if you are covering a spot it is often better to use a small brush to cover the spot.

Remember to always apply concealer after foundation and make sure that it is a lighter shade to that of your skin. If all else fails with covering a spot, draw over it with your eyeliner pencil and transform it into your lovely new beauty spot!

You should invest in a good concealer brush. It helps you not cake it on and you can really touch up blemishes well with this brush. It also depends on if you are using a concealer that already comes with an applicator, or a concealer that is in a tube. If that's the case a make sponge can work wonders. If you are using a concealer with a harder consistency then the brush or your finger tips will work great.

Hi all i do is rub the stick under my eye and blend it in , i also dot any blemishes or spots with the stick and then rub in. Then i get some foundation and apply that first where i have put the concealer and then apply the foundation to the rest of my face. I them apply a shine free fresh power to finish off. I swipe it over my eyes to make sure ive covered any dark circles then apply to the rest of my face. I always do it like this and it always works for me. I hate using make up sponges as you tend to wipe most of it of than what you have put on. I just us the concealer stick and then use my index finger, x x

I have slight acne so I use the stuff alot & here's a trick I found to work for me. Before putting on foundation & whatnot I make sure my face is smooth & moisturized first. Then I take the concealer & dot it on any spots I need covered up. After that I take a spongey applicator (wedge one is good) & lightly blot it in until it's even & not noticeable. After that I just put on my foundation, powder, etc & I'm ready to go! = )

I've found that the best way to apply concealer is with your fingers. Brushes and sponges are ok. But it seems like it's easier to blend it in with your fingers.

Take just a little on your finger and dot it over the problem area but do not blend too much or you will not see the help!! Also start with a little and add to it if needed. For more tips check out www.marykay.com/kfrench2006

with your finger, you dab it all over your face and then with your make-up sponge you blend it onto your face it circular motions. Then if it's to thick in one area, wipe it off in that spot with a damp peice of toilet paper or a baby wipe. Then dab a small amount of concealer onto the area you just wiped off and blend it with a sponge. There ya go!! :D
