both my sons were not satisfied with just formula. they both started on solids at 2 months. both have thrived. my daughter wouldn't entertain solids until she was 8 months. they are all individuals. if feeding cereal helps, go ahead. good luck.

How do you know if its filling her up or not? Is she fussy after feeding? That could mean that the nipple size you have her on is too small. Or clogged..sometimes if you're not careful that can happen.
Another thing you could try is apple juice. My daughter was fine on formula though for a long time, longer than 3 months anyways. You know, your employer might just have a free nurseline you can call if you participate in the health insurance plan. Might be able to get a better answer there than here =)

Babies really shouldn't have cereal in their milk (or formula) until about 6 months. It's a bit too hard on their digestive system until then. The same goes for apple sauce (plus, the citric acid that is often in store-bought makes it even worse on them).
She's hungry all the time because she's going through a growth spurt. Babies have them at about 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months. They need the extra food for energy in their growth spurt! :) Feed her all she wants- when she's satisfied, she'll refuse the food.

Babies can eat around every three hours so make sure your feeding often enough. Some babies are bigger eaters than others, so she may eat more than your son did. A bit of cereal probably wont hurt, but I think she is too young for other foods. Maybe she is gassy or has a bit of colic.

3 months is a little too early to start cereal yet.... just make her another bottle after she finishes the other one.... feed her the bottle(s) till she doesnt want anymore... does she spit up alot??? that could make for a baby seeming more hungry... she's too little for juices and other solids yet... no matter what anyone says...
