Fixing virtual memory, or you're low on Virtual Memory. To change it, go to...

Control Panel / System / Advanced (it's a tab)

Performance (it's a button)
from there, you can change the amount of virtual memory you have.

check for spyware!
check for viruses!

if you've been using the net with no firewalls or antivirus, you will probably get them.

if the virtual memory problem is true and not a pop up, click start, control panel, system, advanced tab, preformance, then change... make the virtual memory larger.
and clear your internet cache.

hope this helps

Try what these others have recommended first, then you might want to defragment your computer.
Start- All programs- Accessories- System Tools- disc defrag....
That should speed it up quite a bit.
GOOD LUCK.
