There are many websites with boards where you can hear what people have to say. Do you prefer to see these people before you hear what they have to say, after you have heard what they have said, or not at all?

I prefer to hear what a person has to say before seeing them. Your insides are More important than your outsides because you aren't guaranteed your looks forever. You can get in an accident tomorrow and be disfigured. But if you are a good person on the inside, it makes you attractive on the outside...

I would be more interested in what a person has to say and then see what they look like. Because if you see someone unattractive you more than likely have already decided you don't want to see what they have to say. You could possibly be missing out on a great person.

J_C , me I prefer what people have to say. Faces are interesting sure but its the words that do it for me on this site , because a few people fake their photos , and flatter themselves.
I think it was Oscar Wilde who said....we are all lying in the gutter , but some of us are looking at the stars......

WOW what a question..... Let me see, I would love to see what they look like, but again that sweems superficial, but then again, looks are one of the attractions we all have, let me point out a good funny movie about this, see a movie called, SHALLOW HALL, great movie and it really address this issue. But to be totally honest, we do find beauty within and not on the surface, but looks are very important too, so darn it, I would have to say, the looks are important, yes, have to see the face....

Yes, I find it interesting to see what people are like, don't mind whether its before or after hearing what they have to say. I just like people watching (and listening.)

The mind presents the true appearance of a person as with facial expressions can be disguised or confused .the more someone talks you can get more of an idea of what type of person they are.Also the mind lets the truth slip out more that an out ward appearance would ever reveal to you.

I would like to see people and hear what they have to say simultaniously so I can see their expressions and hear the inflection and tone of their voice.

like to form opinion on people by who they are and what they have to say ,looks are secondary to this.Also never judge a book by it's cover is usually true
