regarding nc labor laws, how long does an employee get for breaks?

NC does not mandate breaks for employees over the age of 16. Under the age of 16 a 30 minute break must be given after 5 consecutive hours.

If an employer does give breaks, the must be 30 minutes or longer to be unpaid.
