I'd say Senna was much better....... I remember when the 2 of them raced each other in the early days of Schuey's career.... not only was there Senna's legendary opening lap of the 1993 European grand prix at Donington........ but I recall at the South African grand prix the same year, Schuey tried to dive inside Senna on one corner and got wheel-hooked out of the race by Senna.

Senna's only real major controversial move was them 2 clashes with Prost @ Suzuka 2 years in a row.
With Schumacher, we have:
- Taking my then hero Damon Hill out of the 1994 Australian grand prix to make sure he didn't get beaten to the title.

- Bashing into my other hero Jacques Villeneuve at the 1997 European Grand Prix at Jerez to try stop HIM winning the title (and failing to make it work that time)

- The "parking incident" in qualifying for this year's Monaco Grand Prix.
and there's probably others I can't remember right now.

Also, Senna could handle the pressure of being persued...... remember the final few laps of the 1992 Monaco Grand Prix with Nigel Mansell?
I recall when you put Schumacher under pressure, he starts making mistakes, locking wheels, etc.... like last time out in Hungary, when he retired from the race after clashing with Heidfeld trying to fend him off? Or the 1995 British Grand Prix trying to fend off Damon Hill? Or a few years back when he spun at the Nurburgring when Montoya took him round the outside?

Senna was better than Schumacher because the reasons he only won 3 WDC's were the huge amounts of competition and May 1st 1994. The date says it all. :'((
Plus, let's look to their dark side. The trickery in their careers. Schumacher always planned his maneuvers in secret, away from the public. Sneak tactics that are not tolerated.
Senna's big trickery was when he was battling Alain Prost, but the 1990 Suzuka incident was preceeded by Senna's warning the days before, so when he did it, everyone knew what he did and why. He laid all his cards in the open. Schumacher stuffed his sleeves with the wrong aces.

Ayrton Senna is better because with Schumacher you will never know if he is racing with a legal car... Jos Verstappen is even better..He switched cars with Schumacher when they both were in the Benetton team and he was way quicker than Schumacher. Schumacher kept Jos away from major teams...

because Senna was not a cheat. he never had a team mate that would pull over for him to win a race. if you look at schumacher he gets help from his team mate for example Austrian GP at the a1 ring in 2002 poor Rubens had to pull over for him so schumacher had a better chance of winning the championship. senna by far is a better racer.

There were less driver aids during the Senna era, although the cars were slower then the present cars, they were all driver skills.

if you put Senna and Schumi in a same identical without any driver aids, i'll go for Senna anytime!!

They are/were great drivers. Unfortunately they have both done too many unscrupulous things for my taste. I preferred Mika to Michael and Alain to Ayrton.
