I want to get a good aircraft shooting game for the PC, anyone got a recommendation.

Il 2 Sturmovik : I don't play such games but a friend keeps bugging me about it. I actually play X3 Reunion it's a space simulator, much like a flight sim but has also economy elements. I myself find this one great.

When you say aircraft shooting game - do you mean a flight simulator or a game where you shoot down aircrafts?
Option 1 - there's loads of flight sims out there. For planes i'd suggest Microsoft flight sim. For fighters i'd recommend F16. For Chopper sims i'd say go with the classic. Comanche Gold.
For the other one - where you shoot down planes there's only 1 game that has truly impressed me - Incoming. Get it if you can.

Battlefield 2 is the best shooting game ever!!
It is a modern combat game with multiplayer.
You dont only have to shot with guns on the ground.
You can use tanks,war vehicles,boats and many different types of aircrafts.
Including the f14s,f15s,migs,su35s,F35s and so on.
You can take of from aircraft carriers.

Does it have to be actual aircraft? I'd recommend Bridge Commander.

Battlefield 2 and all of the Combat Fligt Simulator series, they are WWII based games, and it helps to have a joystick for the flight simulator.

get starcraft. It is a semi- rp game. You have missons to do and different races of aliens to play as. The role playing part is that you do stuff the whay you want but you have to complete objectives. this game also includes multiyplayer mode.You just have to sign up to play.

Deimos Rising, a top-down shooter...it's really for a mac but they've just remade it to work on a pc too
