I was in one for 3 years and we would visit each other. One of us would have moved but the only problem was she was from Canada and I am from the States and at that time neither of us could afford to do that. I started college and we just ended up falling out of love.
If we were to live in the same state at least maybe things would have been different but I don't know.

I've been there done that....the important thing is the 'why' that move can't be made yet. If there is a genuine love between the two of you- that should conquer all. I know that sounds cliche- but it is definitely true. I would have a heart to heart talk with this person, explain exactly how you feel.....and feel for the reaction you get when you get an answer. Always remember to listen to what you don't hear as well as what you do ;)

Before I married my husband, he was in the military and was sent to Iraq for a year. It was really hard on both of us, but if you really love someone a long distance relationship can work. Be patient and faithful is the best advice I can give. Try sending care packages that contain things that you know they will love. Fav CD, food, movie, magazine, PICTURES, love letters etc. so that they know you are thinking about them. But if it is too hard for both of you to maintain a long distance relationship.... get out of it, cause if you aren't willing to wait, then it isn't real love and you are wasting your time.

I used to be then we moved in together and it all fell apart and now he have a kid together and we can't stand the site of each other, leave it a long distance relationship until your money and careers are right.
