If you plan to rely upon this method as a form of birth control, I would recommend that you don't have sex at all...it is NOT a viable method.
Remember, it only takes 60 seconds for a single sperm to enter the uterine cavity (and each ejaculation contains several MILLION sperm cells!) - and once it's there, there's not a damned thing you can do about getting back out. And it only takes ONE sperm cell to fertilize the egg, and voila - pregnancy occurs.
Use a condom, a diaphragm, Lea's Shield, the Pill, the shot, contraceptive foam or jelly, an IUD, or hey! ABSTAIN from sex. If you don't want to be pregnant than do the responsible thing and USE PROTECTION!

I'm no doctor, but I think that only works for men. Men should urinate after sex, it pushes any left over sperm from the penis and keeps it from causing an infection (often noted by that burning sensation when you pee after sex!). As for women, since the two pipes are connected, I don't see how it would do any good.

no i don't think that is true but what i have heard is that going to the bathroom after sex will help kill some of the sperm. that doesn't mean you can have unprotected sex and just go to the bathroom after and everything will be alright though.

No. Your supposed to go to the bathroom after sex to prevent urinary tract infections. Once sperm is in you it is trying to swim up to your eggs. The only things that will help prevent pregnancy is birth control and condoms.

NO!!!!!! IT WILL HELP YOU TO NOT GET A URINARY TRACT INFECTION. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS GO PEE RIGHT AFTER SEX BUT NO THE SPERM STICK TO YOUR INSIDES YOU WILL TAKE IN SPERM NO MATTER WHAT EVEN IF HE PULLS OUT. GET ON THE PILL AND BE CAREFUL. no thats totally not true a lot of people think it is but no. this might sound a little gross but it will prove it to you. go pee and place your fingue on the whole. not your clit and not where the pensie iincerts but there is another wholevery tiny and thats where the urine comes out of not the same whole that the sperm come from feels like it is but its not. your urain comes for your uretha.

it won't get the sperm out, but I did hear that you are supposed to urinate after sex... I forget the reason that the article said.

no have sex some of sperm has done moved up into your tubes. best to wear a rubber u have no problem

We did it for years and it worked well, however I would not use it for a solid form of birth control. Sperm will get where they need to go if they are strong enough no matter what!
