broadband speed is determined by network traffic, for example if you use it on a friday night, you will probally get a slow connection speed as all the kids and teenagers will be busy downloading ect
however at 7-30 in the morning you should get a quite good connection,as most users will be in dreamworld and you will probally be one of a few actually on-line
you can try a ping test, this is a connection test and is very easy to run
go to start>run and type cmd >enter........in the command prompt type ping(space)www.bbc.co.uk >return this will send 4 packets of data to the bbc website(you can use any) and will return with 4 readings ,at the end it will give you a average of the 4 readings in milliseconds
to use as a benchmark i get around 17 milliseconds on this test but anything below 50 is ok
run this test and let me know the result
also if you turn off your router for 30 seconds, and turn it back on this can sometimes cure a connection problem
good luck

relies upon on your broadband service. you probably did no longer point out whether you have DSL, ADSL, television Cable, Satelite or Fiber Optics? i know in case you get your broadband over copper telephone wires, your velocity relies upon on how some distance you're from the same old workplace (CO), no count how plenty velocity your ISP provides. Temperature additionally impacts copper telephone cord transmission.

well it all depends on the traffic, typically, the times that are high traffic are in the morning before 8am and after 4pm, that is when the most people go online.
but it might be just a simple modem reboot to fix your problem.
shut off your computer and unplug your modem for about 2-5 minutes, plug your modem back in and start up your computer.
that will reboot your modem and never hurts to do that anyways

Run your own test check the speed at different times of the day,
http://www.dslreports.com/stest (this is a good site). you might find you are too far from the exchange.
