My husband and I were having sex. I wanted to be on top. After I got there-he lost his erection and didn't want to do anything anymore. It never seemed to bother him before. Why did this happen? Did I do something wrong? My feelings are extremely hurt. Am I taking this too personal? He has never been unable to finish or want to stop during sex. He just seemed to have no interest.

It took me about 3 seconds to get on top and we've been together for 8 years, married almost 7.

This will happen hon, don't worry about it. If he didn;t wantto do it anymore is because he was embarrased that this happened and that he dissapointed you. Losing an e* goes straight to a men's ego and he is ashamed of it.

This has nothing to do with you dear, but if you are upset that "it may be you, that he is not atracted to you anymore, etc" you are worrying about the wrong thing. Reassure him that you love him and that you are not dissapointed.

If you make a big deal out of it it will only make him more insecure about it and he may even try to avoid doing it because he will be scared that it may happen again, or that you will be judging you or that you are going to be dissapointed.

Good luck

If it was a first/only time this has happened, then I'd forget about it. If you obsess over it, you'll only make it worse the next time you guys are intimate. You're taking this WAYYY too hard and personally. I'm guessing you haven't been married horribly long either, because you're pretty insecure about your sex life with your husband if you're this worried about 1 failed attempt. Sorry....

Sounds like you and your husband need a heart to heart. Ask him what you're asking us. If he's a good guy he will confirm that everything is ok and explain what happened. If it keeps happening well then I would see it as a HUGE problem and something that needs further investigation.

If it bothers you so much, you need to talk to him about it. Tell him how this made you feel? Ask him exactly what you are asking us. We cannot answer that question for him. Only he can. Communication is key for a long-lasting relationship.

It happens sometimes, maybe he was just in the mood to be on top and the change turned him off that time.

If it happens all the time, then you should be worried then. Otherwise, its normal.

yes, i would only worry if this became a regular thing. maybe he was tired, or maybe you 2 had an argument and he was still upset. it could be alot of things. one time don't worry, more than once, you need to worry.

Usaully it take two seconds to change positions so it shouldn't went down. But you should have went down on him to bring it back up. Thats what I would have done.
