No, but when I had mine a few months ago my doctor warned me that false positives were very possible.

Many people have that happen. A triple screen is a test that looks for markers that may or may indicate that there is an abnormality with the baby. Just because you recieve a positive it doesn't necessarily mean that there is; it just means that the doctors need to take a closer look. You will be asked if you want further testing, but more than likely, the positive doesn't mean anything.

My doctor said it is common to have false positives with a triple screen. I just had mine done last week. When I first found out I was pregnant they wanted me to get a amnio but I refused to because there is a small chance of miscarriage. Not to mention I wouldn't abort the baby.

THOSE OTHER people who answered don't know what a triple screen is. YOU ARE FREAKING OUT about this you need to call your doctor you have many post asking this same thing you've been told you can get a + and the baby be fine you need more test like a amino to rule out 100% any issues.

If you are really concerned you need to call your OB doctor and ask for another test. When it comes to bloodwork there is a low chance of it being an error.

I did. Go back for more bloodwork. You're probably fine. That's what happened to me.
