You have many options depending on the amount of data you want to move. You could use a flash memory, a CD-RW (in case you have a CD burner), a DVD-RW (in case you have a DVD burner), a mobile HDD, or you could connect both computers directly via a cross-over ethernet cable or using a straight through ethernet cable and a switch, a hub or a router, forming a home network then sharing whatever drives or folders you need to transfer (assuming you have ethernet cards on both PCs). Of course you could also remove the HDD from your old PC, set it's jumper to "Slave" and install it on your new PC and then move all the data you want.....Hope this helps....

Take the hard drive out of the old PC. Install it as a second drive in the new PC. Transfer anything you want over to the new hard drive. Put the old hard drive back.

that depends. du u have a network card in both. if not u must put
info on recording medium. otherwise take the hard drive out of the
old and put it in then new. BUT, be careful!!! static electricity will ruin the drive. and make sure u power down everything completely first.

Pull your old drive and set it to SLAVE. Install it on the second plug on the same IDE cable as you new MASTER drive. When you boot it will show up as the next drive.
Open two explorer windows. One with the location you want to put you old files, and one that shows your old files from your old computer's drive. When you can see both windows, re-size them as needed, simply drag & drop the files from one to the other.
