Thousands of kids are found dead around the globe but they are only singling in on this one child. So what if she was precious, aren't the other kids precious too? If your gonna follow the story of one girl then follow the stories of all the other children that didn't get to see the next day.

What really shocks me is that the media, and certain people, are fixated on a murder that happened 10 years ago. It sad that many other children who have been abducted and killed and have not received this kind of attention, and their killers can continue with their lives with impunity. It speaks poorly of our law enforcement and our collective morality, that money becomes the factor that distinguishes between those who receive justice and those who don’t. After all, if it weren’t for the wealth of the Ramseys the murder would not have had the staying power in the media that it had. I don’t mind that class distinction affects so many facets of our life, but it shouldn’t effect whose life we give more value to.

We should care because a child was mudered on the day after Christmas, it could be anyone's child. Some people just stop at killing a single time. If a child is murdered I want to know and I want to know that they police and officials will do all that they can to catch and put away the pig that did it. A child regardless of status is precious and a child murder is not to ever be taken lightly.

we should care about the ramsey case as much as we do the others....you are right all are precious and all deserve to have justice the only good thing about the ramsey case is that it might bring to light other cases and it might help others...kind of like the adam walsh case, they didn't find the killers for yrs but the dad wouldn't give up and started the america's most wanted, adam walsh foundation etc. that has helped millions of children and adults...yes, we should care about the ramsey case because that little girl and her family are finally going to get some justice and another evil perv is going to be off the streets just hope it helps others the same way.

I agree, every child that gets murdered or is missing should get the news attention that some other ones does. I don't think it is being predijuce, but I do believe the news media should be doing stories on all children as all children matter to us all, well most of us who love children, there are some out there that don't care and I think that is a shame.

I agree with you! It is not fair that certain elite cases get all the attention, meanwhile thousands of kids are still abused and missing in this world-- Its great that we may finally have answers to the murder of this beautiful child but it is not fair that the case has so much attention and its getting so much airtime- meanwhile at any given time there are hundreds of missing children in the USA alone

i agree with you very much, there are kids being idnapped and killed all the time but i think the ramsey case is followed much closer because most people think the parents had something to do with it. Ive been watching the news and this guy they have now is weird i really dont know whether he did it or not

I think people are interested in it because it was such an old case to have such a major development. It makes people feel like the there is hope for justice on cold cases and that the bad guy will eventually get what's coming to them. That is more exciting than the actual specifics of the case.

I really don't know why people want to re-hash this nightmare. I say leave it alone. It's been ten years already. I don't believe that John Karr is the killer anyway. He is a sick-o that just wants his 15 minutes of frame. That the media should give him. And your right, instead of this Ramsey case they should be worry about finding the other children.

I guess someone needs to care. It appears the Ramsey family is somewhat wealthy, so I assume this would be the reason for more coverage.
If it were my child and I could afford to keep it in the news I certainly would hoping it would lead to a suspect.

Because their parents were rich and exploited this little girl in beauty pagents with pounds of make up.
The media is looking to gain viewers and make money.
They don't care about the truth. They will only show what the general publics interest is and usually the general public is grossly misinformed.
Its a shame. We focus on a girl who has been dead for 10 years instead of the kids who are missing and dead theser days.
