Love is a funny emotion, in that, it is as strong un-returned as it is returned. Time is the best cure for love. I'm sorry that this person doesn't feel the same about you, but perhaps it is best, for you to realize that there is no hope, of him ever feeling the same. This will hurt, as love often hurts, but it will also act as a catalyst in your heart, and make it easier for you to move on with your life, which you owe to your self.

It's very hard. It could be a very long process also. All you can do, is keep away. And let yourself gradually get over the other person. Just keep yourself busy, that way you don't have to think about him/her. And whatever you do, don't jump into a rebound relationship. It's not fair to the other person. It's like putting a bandage over your wound. The new person being the bandage, the person you love being the wound. Take things slow, they will get better.

Don't play games, just give up on him and move on. Keep yourself busy with things that make you happy - soon enough you'll realize how wrong he was for you. Also, a gal who is confident, busy with her own activities, and self-assured is a DEFINITE turn-on for guys...you'll increase your chances of meeting someone new if you give off the aura of being happy. Just don't go for another jerky guy next time - the way to avoid this is to GET TO KNOW YOURSELF - this way you'll know right away if the guy can give you what you're looking for, and vice versa. Good luck!

Stay busy and focus on other things. Don't look for someone new to love. If you just let things happen someone good will come when you least expect it.

Simply understand that love should be reciprocal. If there is no two way connection with another, then you are not in love with them. You may be infatuated or lustful for, but not in love. I also find it very easy to not love someone, who has no feelings for me in return.

Find events, activities, etc. that take your mind off of loving someone who has hurt you. The only thing that heals a broken heart is time.

you cannot just stop loving someone that easily but you can slowly try to get over that person by keeping your mind on things that make you happy and staying busy.

once you love someone, i don't think you could not love that individual. you may not care for the person as you did before; however, the love will always be there...
