it varies from state to state, some require working papers obtained through your school, best thing to do is just call and ask you dont need to give a name or anything.

How old do I have to be to work in a Cold Stone Creamery?
Hiring and employment policies are set by our individual store owners based on their local state law.
How can I apply for a job at a Cold Stone Creamery?
You can apply for employment on this site by following the steps below:
Select “Creamery” on the home page
Click on "Jobs Center"
Select "Local Creamery"
Select your state
Select the city (you may have to wait a little while to be able to scroll down the city names if there are many)
Fill out the application and it will be automatically transmitted to the owner of the Creamery that you have selected, or
You can also apply in person when you see the "Now Auditioning" sign in the front window of the store.

Depends on the age restriction in the state, but most states required a worker to be 16 years of age.
