All I can figure is that they are overheating because both of them are doing it. They are shutting off a lot when I run video or intense graphics. Could this be a driver issue? If it is overheating how can I prevent this from happening again? Any help is appriciated.

You could buy a laptop cooling pad. Other than that keep the ventilation ports clear and consider opening up the case to clean out all the dust bunnies.

Depending on what size the graphics card installed is you may have a lack of phyical memory installed,check to make sure your not dragging to much from the memory to the graphics card.Or try propping the laptop up abit to creat a bigger air space underneath as lack off cool air can also cause this.Also buy a laptop fan plate off ebay,cost me a tenner to get one from china for my laptop,but i got it and it works a treat(my laptop is used 16 hrs a day now with no probs at all) Hope this helps........

Get a can of compressed air and clean the fans and air vents. That often helps to increase airflow and reduce overheating. Make sure you position it so that none of the air vents are blocked

You should take off the side cover of your computer. Put a fan near to it and let it BLOW.. that will keep it cool while youre playing games

1. Shut down any unneeded applications/processes.
2. Get a notebook/laptop cooler like the one here->
