Its not abnormal, its just a really bad reason to get involved with a boy. Its only been two weeks, wait until he starts making her miserable and being a jerk (they usually do eventually) and you'll feel exactly the opposite and be soooooo happy that you don't have a bf complicated your life and making you unhappy.

whats so weird about it? its perfectly healthy to see someone be happy in your life and want that for yourself as well.
Jealousy? I'm not sure thats really the correct description but it could certainly feel like that.
I agree that relationships tend to look better at the beginning and it would be best to just live life and let your ideal guy show up when hes supposed to.
However, someone else commented here that all boyfriends turn into jerks, which is certainly not the case or people would never get married. Women and men get along if they are meant to get along, if their complicated personalities work out. Dont let mismatches embitter you like it did to that last commenter.
In the end, let life just take you in the right direction, and just be happy for your friend in the meanwhile. Im sure your guy is waiting around the corner, just give him some time to find you.

It's only normal to feel a bit left out now that your friend has a boyfriend, but don't make the mistake of jumping into a relationship for the wrong reasons, your time will come, for now just try and understand that your friend may be pre-occupied with her new beau, but this in no way reflects how much I'm sure sure treasures your friendship

It suonds like you're a little jeouls.... Do they ever kiss infront of you? If yes then your probly jeouls and want someone sweet and caring like that as well. yes it is very normal but don't get a b/f just to trease you're friend get on when you're really ready. Trust me when the time is right he will be one of the best things that will ever happen to you're life! Or it could possibly be that they always hang out and you want to spend more time with her, If that's the prob then just tell her and I'm sure she'll understand!! Good luck!!!!!

Because she has a man to give her a feeling a woman can't...plus, she's probably telling you how wonderful he is and you probably see it as welll, so you want the same thing....I'm just happy that you aren't one of those people who go after the gf bf.

only get a bf when you're ready to and dont try to compete with your friend because true friends dont do that and the more u try to have a bf....the less chance u have of getting one. The time will come when u r truely ready and find the right guy.

it can be hard to see a couple together and happy when you urself don't have someone to call your own. it's natural to want someone... thats how we were created to be, passionate people who want someone else to care about. YES U ARE TOTALLY NORMAL ... u seem like you may be a little bit jealous of the relationship she has, not in that u want her boyfriend for yourslef but that you want a relationship too, u'll meet someone, give it time ...

you are very normal. Just dont decide to settle for someone who does not make you happy because you wish you had a boyfriend. if YOU really want a boyfriend find someone who will make you happy. dont ever do anything because someone else is doing it though, you'll never be satisfied or happy that way. Good luck.

No and yes. I think instead of a boyfriend, you should go buy a Mercedes then your friends will be the jealous ones! That will show them you aren't their equal but their superior!
