After being on the pill for 7 years I went off it and was pregnant the next month. I was 27. Now, my dr tells me to make sure I am off the pill for a minimum of 2 months before trying to get pregnant again. Not being off the pill for a longer time can cause a miscarriage.

I was 19 with the one I am pregnant with now and I stopped the pill about a month before I conceived. It really depends on the person and the type of pill I think. I was on this one since I had my daughter and she was about 13 months when I stopped taking it.

It takes people sometimes no time at all and people a lot of time. I just want you to know that there is only a 25% chance of conceiving a bay each month! That goes for every woman no matter what her history! If this is the first time trying they say it can take up to a year the first time!
Dont do any of those silly things they tell you to do. None of them work. You have to count your period how many days do you have it for. Find the middle point of your period. Starting at the 14th day after you first started your period. you have 5 days in that time to conceive. Just dint go crazy on those days too much sperm can ruin your chances also! My husband and i only had sex 2 times in Dec and bam I got pregnant and it took us 5 months. Now our daughter is about to be born.
So good luck dont stress over it or it will never happen. It is all about the moment and none of us no the moment!

I am still on the pill, but according to my doctor, you could get pregnant 3 days after you stop taking the pill, and your period can take 3 months to become "regular"

With my first two pregnancies, it was like clockwork: three months after quitting the pill. Than I got on the Patch and whoops! We're expecting again! =) Bonus Baby time. I never thought it could happen to me.... I was 26, 29 and now 31. Everyone and every pregnancy is different...
