No, being herded implies that the employees are making some sort of effort. I mostly see a dozen people standing around and nobody getting waited on.
I don't dislike McDonalds food, I just think that in many locations their employees are not very service- or people-oriented.

Yes. Do not go there. That food, if you want to call it that is plain and simple garbage, but, the American public loves all this garbage. This food is very bad for your body. Your body is a temple. Go eat some raw vegetables and try going to a health store to shop. This is the only true advice I can give you.
Don't eat that Garbage at these fast food restaurants.

I dont know if I would say herded, but I am expecting alot of paychecks from them, for having to serve myslef (outrageous)!

This is exactly how these places are designed: process you as fast as possible. The goal is also to get you out of there as fast as possible, that's why the seats are not comfortable: they want you to free that space for the next clients.

they are so busy!!
The drive thru generally is busy too.
Buy stock, it may pay off.
