Of course a door way should go "that way". Think of the confusion if it went "this way".

No, it should go the other way. seems like whenever you go into a fast food restaurant or store the door swings in and when you are leaving you have to juggle what you purchased to pull open the door.

actually it should slide sideways into the wall. that way it would never open the wrong way and one door would fit all.
