The Mongolian spot is not the only trait that the indigenous people of the Americas share with Asians. There is also a trait that is called 'shovel tooth' that is on the back of the front teeth. Most of the world's people have a flat shape on the back of the front teeth, but Asians and Native Americans have a triangle shaped scoop out of the backs, giving them a more concave shape. The blood type is also similar,,, being type A.
It certainly does look like the Bering Strait was at one time more easily passable. I noted that one of the posters hinted that the migration may have been the other way though,,,, from Alaska to the west instead of vice versa.

Anyone with darker skin can have what we *call* a Mongolian spot over the sacrum. The melanocytes originate in the central nervous system (spinal cord) and migrate outward and slowly. The pigmentation may be visible as a spot for two years or longer after birth. It can be mistaken for a bruise and it is not unheard of for Child Protective Services to be notified by uneducated teachers/child care workers. Horrifyingly enough, some CPS workers don't know about it either.
Mongolian is just a word used by the long ago racist white doctors, (who, by the odd chance of history were allowed to give names that stuck) like calling persons with Down's syndrome Mongolians.

Very good! You answered your own question, and you are right! The Mongolian spot refers to a darker area over the coccyx or tail bone. Many American natives from the Eskimos in the north to the Incas in the south, and not only Mexicans, have anatomical traits that may prove correct one of the theories about the origin of Early Americans and the migration route: Asia to America by crossing the Bering Strait.

Mongolian Spot(s) is most common among Mongols and other Asian ethnic groups: (Japanese, Indonesians, Koreans, Usbekistanis, Turkmenistanis, Turks, Malaysians, Chinese, Mongols, etc.) Nearly all Mongolian infants are born with one or more Mongolian Spot. 95-100% of East Asian and Native American infants, 40-50% of Hispanic infants, and very few Caucasian and other infants have it. It is also very common if only one of the parents is East Asian.

it is because of the bering strait migration where my Native people crossed the land bridge and settled Asia, (you will note the archaeological record shows that the earliest artifacts are in central america and those found along this migration path get have progressively later dates)

You have not seen it and I do not think anyone else has either. I think this is something that someone made up and it has been passed on as something that is real. Forget it, it does not exist and anyone who says it does is lying. Try looking it up on the internet. if it isn't there, it does not exist.
