"Intelligent design" is an irrefutable theory, which means that it is impossible in principle to produce any evidence to show either that it is wrong or that it is right. Evolution is supported by piles of evidence from many different fields, but it could be disproven by showing the falsity of either of its two essential elements:
- Variation of characteristics over time. This is known to occur; every commercially important plant or animal is a variation from the original wild type, sometimes to the extent that the variant and the wild type are not cross-fertile -- i.e., the variant is a new species.
- Selection, such that useful variants tend to be propagated, while useless oned die out. Nature has obviously been doing selection since life began, and mankind has gotten into the act since the rise of agriculture.
Hats off to you for asking a good question.

your assuming that no evidence exist. Do you even know the meaning of theory? Doesn't sound like it.
FYI;
In science, a theory is a proposed description, explanation, or model of the manner of interaction of a set of natural phenomena, capable of predicting future occurrences or observations of the same kind, and capable of being tested through experiment or otherwise falsified through empirical observation. It follows from this that for scientists "theory" and "fact" do not necessarily stand in opposition. For example, it is a fact that an apple dropped on earth has been observed to fall towards the center of the planet, and the theory which explains why the apple behaves so is the current theory of gravitation.

neo-Darwinism is a scientific theory because it makes testable predictions about nature (e.g., that the geologic record will demonstrate gradual variation in species).
Intelligent design makes no such predictions and is not a scientific theory.

I don't know, perhaps chatting with God helps me become a bit biased, and healings I've witnessed and sometimes even participate in are a bit of a hint too. But to each his own...
It's not so much that I believe darwin is wrong, as I believe others are right. You know darwin isn't the only theory either? There are people who don't believe in God or evolution, but still have ideas of how the world was made. Are they wrong? You and I don't know, but you think a different path is right and I think yet another is right. It's not so much as saying "This idea's wrong in my opinion" as much as saying "I believe this one is right"

Can you explain to me what neo-Darwinism is? I've never heard of that before.
Sorry I can't help

There are so many functions in nature that couldn't have developed through evolution. these functions have to be fully assembled to be effective for anything.

ID is based on Faith; it can't be proved. If you don't have Faith, you'll never believe.
I don't believe evolution will ever be proved either; just like there's no proof for Gravity.
