I am collecting unemployment for the last two weeks or so, and have ben on numerous job interviews. I just received in the mail a letter stating that I must attend a "reemployment Services Orientation" Does anyone know if my benefits will be denied if i do not attend these meetings?

If you aren't working, what could it hurt?

What does it matter if they will be denied or not....if it will help you find a job then as was said in another answer what can it hurt...and I don't know what state you are in but I know that there are some laws around unemployment.....such as you have to be makeing a good attempt at finding a job...and by not attending without good reason then in my opinion you are not so I would.....it just might help you.
