Just concentrate on being supportive and non-judgmental, even regarding things that seem small or unrelated. Once she knows for sure you are not going to criticize her clothes, opinions, movie choices, etc., then she will know you are a safe person to tell if she so chooses.
You could try telling her something personal about yourself, to take a risk yourself so she knows she can do the same, but don't do this to manipulate or pressure her -- "now you tell ME something!" Only do this if it feels right for you, and if you want to have a closer, better friendship.
But like others here have said, I would just be a friend and be patient.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO? There is nothing you can do, she has not admitted anything to you,and if she really is gay, give her the respect of being the one to reveal it, when SHE thinks the time is right. Continue to be a supportive friend regardless.

The only thing you could do is be her friend. If you really want to know if she is gay, say something in passing to the effect like "If I find out one of my friends are gay, then kewl, as long as she realizes that I am straight. I'll still be her friend, as long as she don't try to push it on me." Then go from there, unless you have a problem with being friends with someone who is gay.

if she is gay will it change the friendship that the pair of you have? my thought is no if you are a true friend just let her come out in her own time and be a true friend and be there for her

pushing it out of her wont help the situation so just give her time to tell u herself. U even could be wrong so dont judge her right away if u dont know for sure if she is or not. its not really any of your buisiness either...its hers and if she wants it to be your buisiness...she will tell u later on if she is. She also could be confused and doesnt know if she is gay either.

I think th ebest thing to do would be to let her know, casually, that you don't care if a person is gay or not, that way, when she's ready to tell you, she will know that you're someone who won't judge her.

Only if you are gay too, and want to be closer friends.
Otherwise, leave well alone - if she wants to tell you something she will do it n her own time.

I'd let her come out of the closet on her own... If you ask her she might never feel safe telling you... she might think you're trying to attack her....
