I just got a job at a busy resturant as a server ot cracker barrel, and I currently deliver pizzas for pizza hut. I have never been a server, but they are willing to give me a try. They both are willing to work with my school schedule. I can really work 1 job, and I would work 25-30 hours a week. Should I take the risk and work at crackel barrel

I actually worked @ a Cracker Barrel in Mesquite, TX, and I really liked it. They don't serve alcohol so you don't deal with crazy drinkers and, for the most part, the older people are really nice. Your decision, but I did like CB, unless you like having the casual, drive around, stop at a friends house and hang out for a few b/w deliveries job, either one sounds pretty decent. And the corn muffins @ CB are awsome.

You might ask a server at Cracker Barrel what the tips are like there. You already know what they are at The Hut. What about gas for delivery at Pizza Hut? That's another expense you would not have at Cracker Barrel.

suggest going with the server at cracker barrel. the main reason to choose would be the advantage of not driving your auto so much. with the price of gas this would be one of my major thoughts. unless the pay would be more delivering pizza allowing for the cost of gas and wear and tear on your auto

Can you give Cracker Barrel a try on your day off to see if you like it? With gas prices the way they are delivery doesn't seem the way to go.

Go for it and make the best of it. Consider it a stepping stone just like Pizza Hut.

If you think with the tips you'd be earning more money, yes. Plus, once you learn to be a good server, it's a transferable skill to lots more places.
