You're going to have to survey the market. Ask for references for criminal defense lawyers. Make up a list of 5 to 10 of them. Then call their offices and ask what their standard hourly billing rates are. Law offices (and professionals in general who bill by the hour) are used to this question. Anybody who won't tell you isn't somebody you would want to hire.

Yep. ANY lawyer will get whatever the market will bear. If he can gouge you for thousands, he will. But I do believe there is a maximum they allowed to charge though I don't know exactly what that might be. Sorry I couldn't be more help than that.

attorneys charge depending on the crime committed not their specialty but if you have money he will cost you your last penny and then he will advice you to settle and take a deal quickly when the money runs out - but as long as there is money in your pocket he will work very hard to put it in his.

Why don't you ask the attorney what his fee is per hour for any particular problem.

You won't get any child support or alimony from him. By the way, you just proved that I was right by getting so offended. I'll pretty much do whatever I want and there's nothing you can do about it.... LOSER.
