But what about this soul many talk of? This does not require neural pathways as such. The soul keeps going but the dream ends?

When you die only your physical self dies, not your mental body or your causal body, all your memory residue, karmic residues, fears and mental habits are carried along by your soul into your next life, to be incarnated once again along with new lessons and life plans.

So if you die with certain dis-eases, ailments or fears they will surface again in your next life unless the mental condition that caused it is re-experienced and released after understanding the wisdom embedded in that life situation.

That is why the best way to get out of this repetitive nature of life is to experience every life experience fully with complete presence of mind, with alertness that comes from soul awareness.

Soul awareness or gratitude (the attitude of our greater self) ensures that we always know exactly what we are supposed to learn from a particular life experience that since we are aware never feel either victimized or threatened by any life experience unless it is really meant to do so. Living with gratitude we also don’t feel or get stuck at the emotional level or deny it, we learn as we live. That is why only an aware life is a life lived fully.

One reason past life regression work so tremendously well in healing unexplained illness and fears, is that such deep emotional residues need to healed at the level of soul and need spiritual healing, normal psychology barely understand or cannot access such deep realms of our consciousness, but a normal medication practice can, done under the guidance of a Master, or a Guru.

Often child prodigies show talents which are often residues of past lives that were left unfinished and unrealized in some way.

When you die under distress or great pain, emotional or physical you are likely to stay in that state till you willingly step out of it. And unless you choose to wake up from that dream state, it can last forever as we are living is a reality created through our mental body. We are living a thought we once had.

Why is so hard to accept that we're simply the product of our flesh? That strange thing we call "us" is just a collection of biochemical electrical impulses, and when they stop, we stop.
