guitar chord g# is to g as Bbm is to?

I ran this by my rythm guitarist, Matt "Guitar" Murphy. He said there is a half-step difference between a g# and a g, therefore the Bbm would become an Am.

He also said you weren't really needing the answer and that you are probably a decent player. If that's true, when you are in the Calumet City area, stop by and let's do some jamming.
