There's always one, isn't there? Buy Japanese, they never break! LOL... Check out the Toyota and Honda forums and see if that is true (NOT!)

The 3800 in the Grand Prix is a fantastic engine, well capable of going more than 200K miles. Check this one to make sure it hasn't been flooded or wrecked, and that it has a clean title (no salvage indications). If you don't find anything amiss, it might just be a great buy! If it seems too good to be true, walk away...

If the car was maintained you should have no problem getting over 100,000 miles. Check out carfax with the vin before buying. I am a pontiac owner and love the past 2 pontiacs I have had. If the car is in good condition it is well worth it. Have you checked out Kelly Blue Book? You can find out if it is a good deal there.

some problems, MSN gives it a 4 out of 5. Read some reviews.. The newer years from 2000 to 2003 look more reliable as far as the reported repairs go,

If you maintain your car it will last well over 100,000 miles. it's a good car. always try to talk them down on the price tho. maybe offer 4000 for it. good luck
