It depends on when you have intercourse, really.
You can take a pregnancy test on the first day your period is late.

A home pregnancy test detects the hormone "HCG" that is made by the placenta. The placenta starts to form when the baby implants into the uterus. This typically happens 6-10 days after fertilization. The level of hcg is low to begin with, and tests vary in the amount of hcg they can detect.
Most women can get a positive result on a pregnancy test by 14 days past fertilization. Since sperm can live up to about a week inside, the egg may not get fertilized the same day you have intercourse. You will get the most accurate result on a pregnancy test if you wait until your period is late. If you get a negative test, but your period has not begun after 3 more days, take another test. Some women do not get a positive pregnancy test right away.

it depends on timing... I read that it could take two hours for a sperm to reach an egg, or it could take 24 hours... it all depends on where the egg is in the tube at the time and how long it takes the sperm to get there. Assuming that is, that you ahd intercourse while you were ovulating anyway. They have home tests that can read pretty quickly though, as soon as your first missed period

It took me 16 days after conception to get a positive pregnancy test and it was still a few days before I was supposed to have started my period. I scheduled the blood test three days later which confirmed I was definitely pregnant. Good luck!

If you have a regular cycle, then you may get a home pregnancy test which detects pregnancy hormones at an early stage., which would be five days before your period is expected to come. They recommend First Response and/or EPT.... good luck...

At least two weeks after conception, but you really should wait and see if you miss a period.

When you do not get your next period then take a test
If you are not seeking to become pregnant then it is highly advised that you either use some birth control or abstain from sex

Home pregnancy tests are more reliable after the first missed period, so about two weeks.
